I’m a licensed Colorado real estate agent (REALTOR) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) with Your Castle Real Estate.  I work with local home buyers and sellers, and investors from across the globe who want to tap the long-term returns of rental property or engage in their next renovation project.

As a real estate investor, with a very active rental portfolio and a fix-and-flip business, I have a detailed understanding of the economics that drive profitable investment decisions and am skilled at helping investors uncover their next opportunity.

I was born and raised in Denver (5th generation, in fact), so I know this area.  Denver has ranked as one of the hottest real estate market in the U.S. for the past five years, according to Realtor.com.  If you are a buyer looking for your next home or an investor seeking to grow your rental portfolio, you’ll want to work with a knowledgeable real estate professional capable of ensuring your offers are competitive and positioned with a high chance of selection in this strong seller’s market.

As a full-service real estate professional, I work with buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions spanning all of the price ranges and property types including residential single family homes, condos, and multi-family.

What is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)?

Global transactions are significantly different and more complex than domestic deals. From currency issues and financing to visa and tax laws, working with a REALTOR who knows how to handle these differences can make or break a real estate transaction. Because of these nuances, it is essential to work with a knowledgeable and trusted professional, such as a CIPS designee.

What is the CIPS Designation?

A Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designee has undergone specialized training to complete global transactions seamlessly and with reduced risk

The CIPS designation is the only international designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS. Only REALTORS who have completed the coursework and demonstrated considerable experience in global business can call themselves a CIPS designee, and use the name and logo.

What is the coursework/training?

CIPS designees must complete 5 full days of study focusing on the critical aspects of global transactions, including:

  • Currency and exchange rate issues
  • Cross-cultural relationships
  • Regional market conditions
  • Investment performance
  • Tax issues

Learn more about the required designation courses.

After they have completed the coursework requirements, designees instantly join a tight-knit network of over 3,500 real estate professionals around the world. These referral partners can help a client do business in over 45 countries, and ensure that the client will receive the same level of service no matter where the real estate transaction is.

What My Clients Are Saying

“Even though I was out of the state for the entire selling process and closing, Scott kept me informed of each and every detail through phone calls, email and text messages. I was able to sort through the many offers with his advice and attention to details that affected each offer. He went way beyond what I would expect from a realtor in preparing for the final sale. In the end we got a great price for the house, and a stress-free experience. Thanks Scott, to you and your team.” – S. Lang, Personal Representative

Scott Wyatt is what everyone wishes for in a realtor: extremely professional; amazing interpersonal skills; dedicated and committed to his clients; consistently involved in every step of the process; maintains constant communications via email, phone and personal contact; when necessary, explains  the “what” and “why” of the process of preparing and selling a home; introduces amazing contractors to prepare the home; trustworthy; knows all the right people. A five-star realtor and a five-star person.” – R. Walt, Personal Representative

Through selling my property and buying another, Scott was top notch in every way, always quick with answers and addressing concerns. And 2 years later now handled a difficult sale on my mother’s estate home. If he didn’t know the answer, he found it quickly and really made it a smooth transaction.  I was very satisfied with the service I received on both occasions and would do business with him again and again. Highly recommend..” – S. Moore, Homeowner

“Always available, completely knowledgeable, hardworking, trustworthy and personable. Scott worked tirelessly for me to get me the best deal. I have no hesitation in recommending Scott. He would be my first and only call when I list my home for sale again.” – P. Erickson, Homeowner

“I had an excellent experience working with Scott. I have bought and sold a few properties and this one was, by far, the easiest and smoothest real estate transaction that I have had. That is thanks to Scott. His advice is sound, his knowledge is outstanding, and his drive to get my home sold was amazing. I highly recommend Scott for any of your Real Estate needs. I know he will be the first one I look for when the need arises.” – S. Holland, Investor
